You may have noticed that this site's forum hasn't been working lately.  I'm happy to report that the forum is now back online albeit in a 'fragmented' sort of way!

While upgrading this site's CMS to the Joomla! system, I thought that I'd also install the forum component of Joomla!, Fireboard.  The installation went well however, migrating the data from the old forum has proved to be a nightmare!  The developers of Fireboard haven't yet released a converter for the current Forum, "Simple Machines Forum" (SMF) and haven't responded to many requests from me and other users about a timetable for the converter. 

I've decided to abandon the move to Fireboard until such time as an official converter from SMF is released by the developers.  In the meantime, the Forum will be able to run on the site in a fashion.  I've managed to import all of the existing users of the EDRMS Knowledgebase to the CMS so you'll be able to login and participate.  However, you may need to login again to use the forum.  You can do that using your usual username and password.

New users to the site will need to create their username and password in both the CMS and the Forum.  Can't do much about this for now except to apolgise and hope you enjoy the site!
